Every wildlife ambassador represents resilience, purpose, and second chances. Behind every set of scales, feathers, or fur is a story.  Many of our critters came to us through owner surrenders or rescue situations. What could have been the end of their story became a new beginning. Today, the critters serve as wildlife educators across North Alabama. Through safe and respectful experiences, these wildlife ambassadors make meaningful connections with the local community and help educate on the importance of ecology and conservation. 

Critter Crew was founded by Cassidy and Brianna through a shared passion for all things natural science. What started as a love for critters and the natural world grew into a mission of sharing that passion with others! They both bring unique strengths and specialities to the team, combining extensive research, ongoing coursework, and experience in education across all age levels, including high school and college.

Cassidy holds a Master of Science in Biology, with a background spanning the full range of biological sciences, from zoology, botany, and mycology to cellular biology, microscopy, and ecology. She genuinely loves helping others see how all parts of the natural world connect. If it is growing, swimming, crawling, or visible under a microscope, she's probably excited about it! 

Brianna brings creativity and curiosity to the team. Her interests focus on exploring the natural world through sustainability, recycling, and making the most out of the world around us, transforming ideas into engaging activities. She has a knack for noticing the small details others often overlook and loves helping everyone see the beauty and science hidden in everyday things. If there's a tiny detail in nature worth noticing, Brianna will find it and turn it into something worth exploring!
